Upstream services: Production, Conveyance, Storage & Pretreatment
Bateman Litwin specializes in comprehensive oil and gas production projects worldwide, covering both on-shore and off-shore operations. Bateman Litwin leverages its fully integrated project management expertise, global presence and vast experience to deliver solutions and services in the following areas:
Since the 1970s, BATEMAN has executed projects of increasing scope and complexity, including detailed design of the off-shore production platform and two subsea gas and condensate pipelines for the $3 Billion Mossel Bay, South Africa gas conversion project.
In the past few years, Bateman Litwin has focused increasing attention on the CIS, establishing BATEMAN Kazakhstan as a major player in the regional oil and gas industry. Bateman Litwin has been awarded several AGIP KCO projects for development of the Kashagan oil fields, a feasibility study for Kaztransgas of the rehabilitation and modernization of the CAC pipeline system and a site supervision contract for PetroKazakhstan.
Additional projects include an oil refinery energy center, an oil terminal, an EOR (Enhancing Oil Recovery) project in a southern Kazakhstan oil field and an LPG (Liquefied Polypropylene Gas) tank farm.

In addition, LITWIN has successfully executed a wide range of Oil and Gas production projects in Nigeria, Russia, the Persian Gulf and North Africa. Recent examples include the engineering of 6 crude oil pumping stations for the 800km Algerian OZ2 pipeline, with a capacity of 34Mt/y, and a 10 M Euro contract for PMC services to develop the fifth trunkline as part of the Iranian South Pars field developments.
Bateman Litwin is a leader in the field of oil and gas processing with experience and expertise in all facets of utilization and conversion to power, fuels and chemicals. Bateman Litwin supplies turnkey plants and EPCM projects embodying all oil- and gas-processing technologies, including gas compression, liquids recovery and gas-treating systems and oil refining.
Many of Bateman Litwin’s gas-processing projects are situated in remote locations with difficult access and limited infrastructure. Illustrative examples of Bateman Litwin activities include:
Serving as Overall Managing Contractor for the $3 Billion Mossel Bay gas to liquid (GTL) conversion project; at 30 000 BPD, this is the largest operational gas-to-liquids plant worldwide
Design and construction on a turnkey-finance basis of 3 gas processing and compression stations in the CIS, with a TIC of $600 million
Design of over 100 gas processing projects in North and Central America, many involving the provision of full EPCM services
